2. Scope of Services
Argo Rentals provides short-term vacation rental services for properties:
- Owned by Argo Rentals and/or
- Managed on behalf of third-party property owners.
Argo Rentals acts as an intermediary and manager between guests and property owners.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking and making the first payment, the guest confirms that they have:
- Read
- Understood
- Accepted
these Terms & Conditions, the Rental Agreement, and the House Rules applicable to the selected property.
Acceptance is legally binding and applies to:
- Website bookings
- Phone bookings
- Bookings via third-party platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.)
4. Booking & Confirmation
- A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required prepayment.
- Bookings may be made via:
- Website
- Phone (call or Viber)
- Third-party platforms
- In cases where no email is provided, acceptance of terms is still valid through payment or verbal confirmation.
5. Payments
Accepted payment methods include:
- Credit/Debit Card
- PayPal
- Bank Transfer
- Cash on arrival (for remaining balance)
A prepayment is required to secure the reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid in cash at the property, unless otherwise stated in the listing.
6. Prices & Taxes
- All prices are shown per property listing.
- Prices may include or exclude applicable taxes, as clearly stated.
- Argo Rentals reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All reservations are non-refundable by default.
Refunds may be granted only at the discretion of Argo Rentals, in exceptional cases such as:
Serious service failure
Proven fault of Argo Rentals
Some properties may offer refundable cancellation options for an additional fee. These terms are clearly stated in the property listing.
In case Argo Rentals must cancel a reservation:
A full refund will be issued.
Alternative accommodation may be offered, subject to availability.
8. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in and check-out times vary by property and are stated in each listing.
- Early check-in and late check-out are not guaranteed and require prior approval.
9. Occupancy & Visitors
- Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced.
- Only registered guests may stay overnight.
- Day visitors are allowed only if stated in the property rules.
- Minors are allowed only when accompanied by a legal guardian.
10. House Rules
Guests agree to follow all house rules, including but not limited to:
- No parties or events
- Smoking allowed outdoors only
- Quiet and respectful behavior
- Compliance with local laws
Failure to follow house rules may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.
11. Pets
Pets are allowed only in properties where explicitly stated and may require prior approval.
12. Damages & Guest Responsibility
- Guests are fully responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
- All repair, replacement, or extra cleaning costs will be charged to the guest.
- Argo Rentals reserves the right to claim compensation after departure if damages are discovered.
13. Liability Disclaimer
Argo Rentals is not responsible for:
- Loss or theft of personal belongings
- Accidents or injuries on the property
- Utility outages (water, electricity, internet)
- Weather conditions or natural events
Guests stay at their own risk.
14. Force Majeure
Argo Rentals shall not be liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Strikes
- Technical failures
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Greek law.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Xanthi, Greece.
16. Language
These Terms & Conditions are available in Greek, English, and Bulgarian.
In case of discrepancy, the English version shall prevail.
